Roller / Solar Shades
Roller or Solar shades add color, style and texture to any room at a great price. With a large variety of colors, patterns, styles and features, roller shades can fit your needs perfectly. Fabrics range from sheer to blackout, depending on how much privacy and light control you need. Roller shades "roll up" onto an open tube or are enclosed in a designer cassette and operated with a continuous cord loop or a motorized by remote control. Also, New York State of Blinds can provide our roller and solar shades with personalized features like a designer cassette valance with a decorative bottom hem. Your roller shade can also be customized with digitally printed pictures.
Roman Shade
Roman Shades combine the beauty and softness of a fabric draped shade with the elegant touch and practicality of custom shades. At New York State of Blinds we offer two choices either the Flat Roman or the Hobbled Roman shades. Flat Roman shades are made of a continuous piece of material that hangs flat on the window, providing a smooth fold that gives a room a simple, clean look. The Hobbled Roman shade has cascading folds that give a curvature down the window, creating a more modern sophistication appearance. Roman shades can come top down, bottom up, cordless, continuous cord loop or motorized. Roman shades are available in sheer, light-filtering, and blackout fabrics.
Cell Shades
Cell/Cellular shades are best known for their energy-saving properties but also offer a wide array of customizable options. Cellular shades get their name and insulating power from their honeycomb shape that traps air between the window and the room, buffering against heat loss in winter and heat gain in summer. New York State of Blinds offers 5 different sizes, styles and opacity in our cell shades. Choose from our 7/16” double cell light filtering, our 9/16”, 3/4” or 1-1/4” single cell light filtering and blackout cell shades or choose our 3/4” cell-in-a-cell light filtering or blackout for maximum insulation. Our cellular shades come in a wide range of colors, textures and patterns that will compliment any room or sliding door. Cell shades come as top down, bottom up, corded, cordless, continuous cord loop and motorized.
Sheerview Horizontal Shades
The Sheerview Horizontal Shades are the fabric version of a Venetian blind. Instead of the slats stacking on the top of the blind, Sheerview horizontal shades roll up into a designer cassette. New York State of Blinds offers 3 sizes 2”, 2-1/2” and 3” of light-filtering to room darkening cell shades. We do not recommend these as blackout shades. Sheerview offers you the beauty of the outdoors with privacy. You can see out when opened but maintain your privacy due to the connected sheer fabric. Then for full privacy in the evening you can close the Sheerview horizontal shades. Available in a variety of colors and textures, with control systems that include continuous cord loop or motorization.
Vision Shades
Vision Shades are a type of shade that is constructed by overlapping the chosen fabric with hemmed sheer and stored in a designer cassette with built-in valance. This shade is specifically designed to be lowered with its fabric coming from the front and the back of the cassette giving you a banded vision. You can keep it fully closed, open or partially closed depending on your needs. New York State of Blinds offers you a wide variety of design choices, including, whites and neutral colors as well as shades that offer translucence or fabric with contrasts, patterns, weaves, botanical influences, florals and cool tones, as well as textures. With these quality window shades, you can look out but remain hidden from view. Vision Shades can be controlled by continuous cord or motorization.
Woven Wood Shades
Woven wood shades also known as bamboo shades, constructed of natural wood and a beautiful alternative to other popular window treatments. Woven wood shades are an excellent choice for outdoor patios and decks. Available in a variety of materials including bamboo, grasses and reeds, woven shades add texture and style to any room. New York State of Blinds offers you a vast variety of colors and textures as well as light filtering or blackout backing. The woven wood shade has a lift system that includes corded or cordless.
Stackable Panel Shades
Panel track blinds are the ideal solution for covering patio doors, sliding glass doors, and oversized windows. Mounted above the top trim, large fabric panels slide back and forth on a track for easy operation with the ability to stack completely clear of the door or window when in the open position. Available in numerous fabrics from sheer, solar screen, room darkening and blackout. These sliding panel blinds are easy to coordinate with any decor style as well as other window coverings in the room. They can be stacked to the right, left or split. The panels are not tiltable, but are stationary, sliding on a track similar to a vertical. New York State of Blinds stackable panel shades come with a designer matching valance to hide the head rail.
